About the Artist

Melissa Ewing is a self-taught artist in Atlanta, Georgia, who first began painting during her third year of law school as an outlet for stress and creativity. What began as experimentation developed into a passionate hobby.

Melissa uses paints with acrylics on canvas, alternating between broad brushstrokes and more textured layering with a palette knife. Melissa is drawn to the emotion of colors, shifting between calming, pastel infusions and more vivid, contrasting hues. Her style is contastly evolving, as is the artist.
